Books have always been a part of my life, but over 20 years ago, Sharon Kay Penman’s The Sunne in Splendour sparked something extraordinary. This captivating tale of Richard III turned my casual love of reading into an all-consuming passion for history, especially the Plantagenet era.
As my curiosity grew, I delved into the lives of monarchs, knights, troubadours, and everyday people of the Middle Ages, uncovering stories that captivated me completely. It was a rabbit hole I happily embraced, and it led me to Europe, where centuries-old castles, cathedrals, and ruins brought history vividly to life.
In 2017, after a deluxe-themed tour of Scotland, I longed for a similar journey focused on the Plantagenets in France—but I could not find one. That’s when the idea for Plantagenet Discoveries was born.
Now, I get to combine my passion for history, love of travel, and fascination with diverse cultures to craft immersive experiences that inspire others to discover the past and enrich their own stories.
